Melted Crayon Art Workshop Every Saturday Over 4 Weeks - Final Day!

A fun art workshop  that allowed anyone to make art works with bright and colourful impact for not very much effort.

Using blank canvas boards or a wooden base, a large variety of crayons, a utility knife for peeling the crayons, hot glue gun and a heat tool or a hair dryer to melt the crayons - sun on a hot day also works and out imagination we set to.

Thanks to Rosie Andre, Trish Allen and Annette Lee's assistance and support all the participants had four Saturdays of fun!

Annette's yummy cakes, scones, pies and a cuppa were just what we needed to recharge our batteries when we started to flag.

See our results - not bad for beginners!

Cooktown 'In The Bin' Short Film Workshop & Festival Oct 2013

A fun Cooktown 3 day short film workshop 25th - 27th October 2013 was held at PCYC Events Centre. Teaching and inspiring we budding film makers that there are no boundaries to what you can achieve through film. We broke up into four teams to create, produce and edit our own short film, which was screened at the Cooktown Film Festival in the park last night!

QTFF provided all the equipment and our instructor Jed helped so much with edits but we made our own creative decisions on story and content.
The workshop covered story development, shooting and producing and editing.
