21st Century Kids Summer Festival On Tour in Cooktown on Saturday 15th January 2011.
Kids made their own bird species using shredded paper and bird templates created by the artist..  These pictures show the wonderful results of a little imagination.  Each bird in it's nest was labeled with the birds name, habitat, foods eaten, and behaviours. Australian artist Fiona Hall translated her interest in the migratory patterns of birds and nest-making into a hands-on activity. I had a fun day assisting with this kids art activity.
See more birds nests and birds on Cooktown Art Facebook album and the Cooktown Art Blog.

Those who complete the test and become citizens receive a special Alien Nation citizenship certificate and card to show that they are part of the Alien Nation.
